  Welcome to Luyben Music. Bonade and the rest of the staff at Luyben's are glad you dropped by. Luyben's is celebrating over 55 years of service to the musical community. Robert Luyben, began offering his ligatures in 1965 as a sideline to his thriving music store. Luyben, who died in 1993, had studied with Daniel Bonade and was a clarinetist with the U.S. Navy Band. He turned down several job offers playing in New York to open a small teaching studio and repair shop in his hometown.\n\n* Printed Music

  Luyben Music has been in Kansas City for years. They have an outstanding string music section, rent instruments and have an appreciation for the professional and the student. Lots of unique music gifts available in their store.
